Died July 28, 1980, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Daughter of Lunie Gilbert Pruitt & & Minnie Jane Arnold Pruitt.
Married Harvey Aylor McGowan, May 15, 1935, Melbourne, Izard County, Arkansas.

Beulah Ada McGowan, 65,died Monday at Baxter General Hospital. She was a resident of Old Joe.
Mrs. McGowan was born Dec 21, 1914, at Iuka, the daughter of Lunie and Minnie Pruitt. She married Havery McGowan May 15, 1935.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Patsey Lawrence of Memphis, TN, and Linda White of Kansas City, KS; one brother Henry Pruitt of Old Joe; one sister Mavis Hare of Omaha, NE; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Wednesday at the Old Galatia Church with the Rev. Verna H. Parks officiating. Burial was in the Galatia Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ed Teegarden, Shorty Teegarden, Jimmy Teegarden, Howard Teegarden Dwight Teegarden and Udel Southard. Honorary pallbeareres wer Mike Pool and Arlin Baker.
