B, 12th Arkansas Cavalry, at Monticello, Arkansas, October 15, 1863; present, February 29, 1864; born in Tennessee, c1831; died in Arkansas, March 14, 1891; widow Mrs C. D. Hammett filed Arkansas pension application #6059 from Jefferson county, August 22, 1901; listed in Drew county 1860 census; occupation farmer.
