Sophie Wheeler of Mt. Home died Sunday (April 5, 1998) at Calico Rock Medical Center. She was 86.
An LPN, Mrs. Wheeler was born May 2, 1911, in Kerekegyhza, Hungary to Loslo and Corsoi Szaldi. She married William 'Joe' Wheeler on Sep 16, 1944, in England.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Green Forest, the Green Forest Garden Club and the Norfork Church of Chirst.
Mrs. Wheeler is survived by one sister-in-law, Lela Wheeler of Salesville and one niece, Mary Medley of Independence, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 10AM. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6PM to 8PM at Roller Funeral Home. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Roller funeral Home.
