Jeanne Mane, 71, of Mt. Home passed away Monday, Jan 21, 2002, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. A graveside service was 10AM Thursday at Galatia Cemetery.
She was born Sept 6, 1930, in Norfork to A.C. and Julia Kerley Hall. She married Bill Manes on Dec 24, 1950, in Mt. Home. She was a teacher and taught in Leslie, Norfork and Mt. Home. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Arkansas Retired Teachers Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Manes of Mt. Home and Jan Fletcher and her husband, Marlin of Russellville; three grandaughters, Amanda Chilcutt of Mt. Home, Kimberly Fenech of Newport News, VA and Sara Moore of Russellville; a sister Mauzee Pitchford of Salesville; a mother-in-law, Rue Manes of Mt. Home; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Billie Childutt; and three brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Kids, Mt. Home Christian Clinic or Galatia Cemetery Fund.
Arrangements were by Roller Funeral Home.
