Mrs. Mary Ellen Parrish, 94, of Route 3, Mt. Home, died Thursday, Dec 2, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lonzo F. Unger, on State Highway 5 Southeast.
Funeral services were held at 3PM Sunday at the Galatia Cemetery, east of Norfork. Rev. Oris Vincent of Norfork officiated at the gravesided rites, and the McClure Services was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Parrish was born in Missouri and spent most of her life in Baxter and Izard Counties. She was born March 22, 1871, the daughter of the late Green and Hannah Weatherford.
Survivors include tow daughters, Mrs. Dovie Unger of Mt. Home and Mrs. Emmie Brown of Rison; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and five sisters.
