Mary Ann Phelan, 79, Corning resident, died in Piggott Community Hospital. She was the daughter of Joseph and Rosena (Parcelli) Schiavo and married Roy Lon Phelan, August 9, 1947.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors are one son, Gary Joseph Phelan, Corning; four grandchildren, Scott Alan Sharpe, Jeri Lynn Sharpe Swann, Gary Don Sharpe and Cindy Marie Sharpe; 2 great-grandchildren, Hanna and Emlee. Jerry Sharpe, Corning was a son -in -law.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Sally Ann Sharpe and a sister Clara Cartinuti. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning in Ermert Funeral Home chapel with Thad Clark officiating. Pallbearers were Scott Sharpe, Gary Don Sharpe, Tommy Hancock, Brook Swann, James Frans and Anthony Boblac.
