Lula Dix Bullington, 96, of Corning, Ark., died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001 at Clay Healthcare in Corning.
Mrs. Bullington was born Aug. 28, 1904, in West Plains. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church in Knobel, Ark., and had resided in Corning for six years. She formerly lived in Knobel.
On Nov. 29, 1924, she married John Asbury Bullington in Newport, Ark. He preceded her in death Feb. 19, 1985.
Survivors include one son, Ernest Bullington of Corning; two brothers, Ira Dix of Bald Knob, Ark., and Lawrence Dix of Ft. Branch, Ind.; one sister, Dortha Duffell of Memphis, Tenn.; three granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.
