Ernest Bullington, 79, of Corning, Ark., died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at his residence.

Mr. Bullington was born on Oct. 2, 1925, in Senath. He was a member of the Knobel Church of Christ in Knobel, Ark. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. He was a retired mail carrier and farmer.

On Jan. 20, 1947, he married Dephane Joyce Fairchild at Piggott, Ark. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2004.

Survivors include three daughters Linda Duncan and Lois Wright, both of Corning, Ark., Lucy Hancock of Knobel, Ark.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, Ark. The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Corning Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Corning Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Paragould Children's Home in Paragould, Ark., or the Bond Cemetery Association in Knobel, Ark.

Dephane Joyce Bullington, 75, of Corning, Ark., died Friday at her residence.

Mrs. Bullington was a member of the Knobel Church of Christ and a homemaker and gardener.

On Jan. 20, 1947, she married Ernest Bullington at Piggott, Ark.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, March 28, in Corning Church of Christ with Joe Arnold and Barry Joiner officiating.
