Effie Jane Lucy, 61, died Friday, March 27, 1959. She was born August 15, 1897, in Independence County, Arkansas, to George A. and Minnie Moore.
She first married Leander H. 'Lee' Clark. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1923. She married Bob H. Lucy on January 10, 1924.
She is survived by her husband; six sons, J.B. Clark, George Clark, L.H. Clark, Franklin Lucy, Hershel Wayne 'Buck' Lucy and Elzora Lucy; two daughters, Katerine Hall and Anna Gay Beard; two step sons, Kenneth Lucy and Henry Lucy; and two step daughters, Lois Hendreson and Marie Lucy.
In adition to her first husband, Leander H. 'Lee' Clark, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, R.H. Lucy and Bobby Joe Lucy.
Funeral services were conducted at the Galatia Church near Norfork with burial in the Galatia Cemetery. Arrnagements were by Hall Funeral Home, Calico Rock.
