PHILBECK, Martha J. BRASHEARS - Mrs. M.J. Philbeck, aged 82 years, a former resident of Bentonville and who had lived here for many years, died at the home of her son, LeRoy Philbeck, at Fort Worth, Texas yesterday, Wednesday, January 15th. Mrs. Philbeck is being brought to Fayetteville where a son lives and she has many friends and where funeral services will be held tomorrow {Friday) at 1 o'clock p.m. at the Methodist Episcopal Church. From Fayetteville the remains will be brought to Bentonville for interment beside other members of the family when a short service probably will be held at the grave. The funeral party probably will not leave Fayetteville until shortly after 2 o'clock and with the highway detour now necessary could hardly reach here before 3:30, possibly 4 o'clock. In addition to the son at whose home she died, Mrs. Philbeck is survived by another son, John Philbeck, of Fayetteville and eleven grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother who lives at Pierce City, Mo. One of her granddaughters, Mrs. Faus Gary, lived for a time here in Bentonville. Mrs. Philbeck's husband and three daughters preceded her in death.
