Enoch David Teague, 75, of Calico Rock died Dec 17, at the Calico Rock Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie Teague of Oxford; eight daughters, Georgia Whitebead of Mt. Home, Vinetta Lester and French L. Cox of Culp, Amelia Delong of Nevada, Lula Bell Hendrson of Calico Rock, Faye Wilson and Frances Hicks of Kentucky, and Shirley Teague of Oxford; eight sons, Barton Teague of Salem, Leon Teague of Culp, Joseph Teague of New Mexico, Luke Teague of Oxford, Johnny Teague of Calico Rock and David Teague, Harry Teague and Thomas Teague, all of Kentucky; one brother, Stanley Teague of Norfork; 30 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Teague was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Mae White Teague, one daughter, one son, his parents, Isaac Newton Teague and Vinetta Sexton Teague and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held Dec 20, at the Old Galatia Church near Norfork and interment was in the Galatia Cemetery. Bro. Jim Whitlock of Salem officiated.
Pallbearers were Sam Cockran, Johnny Cox, Eudell Southard, Boyd Hall, George N. Lester and Don Alman. Honorary pallbearers were Sid Skidmore, James Cooper, Noel Foster, James Wilbur, Virgil Wilbur and Tom Lester.
