Married Elsie Mable Clark, October 30, 1934, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Henry Lester Shipley, 68, of Mt. Home died Saturday (June 25, 1994) at his residence.
Services will be at 10AM Tuesday at Old Galatia Church with the Rev. Verne Pickrell officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11AM to 9PM with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM at Roller Funeral Home. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery.
Mr. Shipley was a lifetime Mt. Home resident, born on June 8, 1926, in Henderson. He served in the Army during World War II and was a welder for the Corps of Engineers. He was a Protestant. He married Elsie Mable Clark on Oct 30, 1943, in Mt. Home. He enjoyed riding horses and hunting.
He was preceded in death by both parents, James Woodford and Almeta Carson Shiplery, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie of the home; three sons, Don Shipley of Stockton, CA, Gene Shipley of Harrison, and Lee Ray Shipley of Hollister, MO; two brothers, Woodford Shipley of Mt. Home and Orvil Shipley of Eldon, MO; six grandchildren; one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
