Oliver Terrill Odor/Oder, born 1860 in Kentucky died Oct 1903. There are two graves at this location, which is about 4 miles south of Pettigrew. Oliver Terrill Odor was the son of Gabriel Morrison & Helen Odor. Oliver married Martha Moore in 1890 in Stone County, Missouri. Oliver and Martha had 4 children. One of their sons was Sammie Odor, born May 1898 and died 1906. Sammie was killed when he was accidently hit in the head with an ax by his father who was cutting wood. Sammie has only a fieldstone marking his grave beside his father. The tombstone for Oliver was placed in May 2000. These two graves are out in the woods on the old Odor place.
