TRUE, Harley Edward - The "grim reaper" visited our community Thursday, June 28th, taking from the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. True their son, Harley Edward True. While aware of the fact that Harley was in poor health his death came as a great shock to the entire neighborhood. He had been so brave in bearing suffering; had made so little complaint; had to the very last gone about the ordinary duties of life so patiently; that, while we knew diabetes meant death, we did not realize the nearness of the dreaded enemy's presence. The deceased was born June 30th, 1911, hence was nearing his 17th birthday. Some four years ago he was converted and united with the Methodist church. He was a boy who chose his associates from the ranks of the best - usually those younger than himself, and who placed the highest estimate on his home or home ties. He leaves to mourn his loss his father and mother and one little sister at home, a married sister at Placentia, Calif., a married brother at Oceanside, Calif. besides other relatives and friends here in Arkansas, who with this entire community sympathize with the family in their loss. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church, the Rev. F.A. Bradshaw officiating. A Friend.
