MEREDITH, Mahelen SEALS Grammar - Mrs. M. Meredith, who lived two and one-half miles south of Centerton, passed out of this life Saturday, October 20 at 4:30 p.m. after a few weeks illness. Miss Mahelen Seals was born in Tennessee January 15, 1845. She was married to J.C. Grammar in 1864 who died Sept. 9, 1891. To this union were born seven children, all living except one girl who passed on at the age of two years. Those living are Geo. Grammar, Berry, Marion and Joel, Mrs. Lula Story and Mrs. Clara Kirby. She was later married to G.W. Meredith who survives her. She professed faith in Christ and joined the Church of Christ at the age of 21 years and lived a faithful Christian life until her death. Rev. Sears of Cave Springs had charge of the funeral services at the home Sunday at 3 p.m. and her body laid to rest in the Barron cemetery.
