December 22 1943 - June 22 2004
Charles battled cancer for several years before losing the fight. He was a retired automobile mechanic. He loved to hunt and loved his beagles. He may be gone, but he will live forever in the memories of those who knew him. Charles was a wonderful friend and father. Every once in a while, God brings special people into our lives. Charles truly was one of those special people. He valiantly fought against cancer, and still managed to maintain his sense of humor and his zest for living, as well as his dignity. I know that God surely has a special place in heaven for those, like Charles, who have touched the hearts of so many people.
He was the son of Hobart Riley and Dora Frances Hall Riley.
Survivors include, a daughter Ami Michelle Riley, a sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Von Carraway, a nephew, Wendell Brown, and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Arkansas with Rev. Gary Faulkner officiating.
He is buried beside his brother, Paul Riley.
