Married (3) Dorothy E. Wakehouse, August 19, 1966, Las Vegas, Nevada.

GASSVILLE-- Services for Doyce M. Barnes of Gassville will be at 10AM Saturday at Old Galatia Church. Mr. Barnes died Tuesday (July 23, 1996) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was 72.
Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM Friday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. Burial will be a Galatia Cemetery.
Mr. Barnes was born Sept 6, 1923, at Norfork, a son of the late David Walter and Hattie May Cunningham Barnes. Prior to moving to Gassville in 1972, he had been a resident of Fontana, CA. He was a retired maintenance worker for a foundry. He and the former Dorothy E. Wakehouse were married Aug 19, 1966, at Las Vegas, NV. Mr. Barnes was a US Air Force veteran of World War II. He was Protestant.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy E. Barnes of the home; two sons, David A. Barnes of Searcy and Douglas Gilbert of El Caion, CA; five daughters, Marge Barnes and Dorce Ann Barnes, both of Searcy, Debra A. Barreda of Ontario, CA, Kathy Hernandez of Topeka, KS and Sharon Farris of Gassville; a step daughter, Kathryn Turpin of Norwalk, CA; 17 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
