Virgil Lynn Greer, 68, of Norfork died Wednesday, Nov 12, 2003, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Greer was born to James 'Jim' and Evah Acklin Greer July 8, 1935, at Norfork. He was a member of Arkana Baptist Chruch and retired from Arkansas Highway Department.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Greer, of the home; six sons, Dennis Nuckols of Mt. Home, Cohen Nuckols of Norfork, Dewayne Greer of Salesvile, Darrin Greer of Mt. Home and Randy and Shelby Greer; three sisters, Virga Whitfield of Norfork, Berlie Harris of Union Star, MO and Thelma Jeffery of Liberty, MO; several grandchildren and an host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Thurlo Greer, Vero Greer and Glenn Greer.
A funeral will be 2PM Sunday at Old Galatia Church with Rev. Tom Stover officiating. Visitation will be from 1PM Sunday until service time.
Burial will be a Galatia Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the CARTI/Mt. Home or Hospice of the Ozarks.
Arrangements are by the Roller Funeral Home.
