A funeral for Mrs. Mary Ella Greer, 78, of Mt. Home will be 2PM Wednesday at Norfork Chruch of Christ. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Greer will be noon-9PM Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6-8PM. Mrs. Greer passed awasy Sunday, Dec 5, 2004, at Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Mary Ella Greer was born Sept 13, 1926, in San Antonio to Joseph and Mary Ella Cox Murtha. Mary Ella Greer married Vero Greer. She worked as a proofer at the Baxter Bulletin. Mrs. Greer was a member of the Norfork Church of Christ.
Mary Ella Greer is survived by three children, Patricia Rosson and her husband, Leon of Yellville, Jacqueline Sue McGowen and her husband, Jeff of Calico Rock and Edward Allan Britt of Mt. Home; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Hodges of California and Ida Pitts of Blue Spings, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Vero Greer; son Curtis Britt; grandson Billy Britt; brothers Freddie and Joe Murtha; and sister Leona Clem.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation.
