FAYETTEVILLE — Nora Stella Gibson, 96, of Fayetteville died May 4, 2005, at Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 18, 1908, in Locke to William Thomas and Cora Bell Hill Davis.
She was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening and needlework.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon Gibson, in 1990.
Survivors include one son, Loy Gibson of Merit, Texas; one daughter, Ruby Baumgardner of Fayettevile; one brother-in-law, W.G. Dove of Nash, Texas; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Cemetery with Vernon Lies officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale.
