Again death has entered our midst and taken the much loved wife of Sam Browning of the Mason Valley community. Rosa Lee Chastain, the youngest child of William and Martha Rone Chastain, was born April 6th, 1891 and died Thursday, March 27th, 1933 at 10 a.m., aged 42 years and 21 days, dying in one-quarter of a mile of where she was born and lived all her years. Rosa was converted at the tender age of 17 years and had lived a beautiful Christian life. To know her was to love her. On March 28th, 1926 she was united in marriage to Sam Browning of Decatur, Ark. and was permitted to live seven years a happy wedded life. She had been sick for a couple of years or more but the kind husband and loving friends and physician did all they could do. The Master has called her from among us. Funeral services were conducted at the Vaughn church by Rev. W.H. Sears, her pastor, of Cave Springs. Then she was tenderly laid to rest in the Barron cemetery beside her parents to await the resurrection morn. She leaves to mourn her passing a husband, two sisters, Mrs. Laura Hendrickson of Gentry and Mrs. Mandy Hensley of Mason Valley, an uncle, Wilson Rone, and a host of relatives and friends. A.F.M.
