BARRON, John Kitzmiller - John Kitzmiller Barron was born near Jonesboro, Tenn. July 7, 1866 and departed this life August 12, 1924 at the age of 58 years. He was married December 10, 1893 to Miss Kate Mills of Vaughn. To this union was born eight children, seven of whom survive him and were all present in his last days. They are: Mrs. Clarence Odle of Springdale; Roy and Paul of Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Will Piercy of Osage Mills; Mrs. Dewey Porter of Huntington Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Anne Aaron of the home address. The deceased was converted at the age of twenty-two years and united with the M.E. Church, South of Centerton, Ark. in 1890 and his dying testimony was that he was ready and willing to go. The funeral was conducted at the home two and one-half miles southwest of Springdale by F.A. Bradshaw Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Interment was made at the Barron cemetery at Vaughn.

Mrs. Kate Barron, former resident of Benton county, died in Springdale on April 2nd at the age of 53 years. She is survived by eight children, one of whom, Mrs. Ruby Piercy of Osage Mills, lives in Benton county. Mrs. Barron was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Mills. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. F.A. Bradshaw, pastor of the Hazel Valley Presbyterian church in Vaughn, with interment in the Barron cemetery.
