William A. 'Bill' Styner, 83, died Monday, July 26, 1948, at his home near Norfork. He shared his home with his care-giving step granddaughter and her husband, Mary Dell Cunningham Haney and Lenford Haney.
Born in 1865, Mr. Styner was a Spanish American War Veteran. His wife Laura Bell Lackey Clark Styner preceded him in death in July of last year.
Survivors include two step sons, Ted Clark of Norfork and Alfred Clark of Cabool, Missouri; and six step daughters, Dessie Chastain of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Ida Grigsby of Guion, Odess Cunningham of Norfork, Lois Whitehead Totten of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Lovrea Johnson of Parkville, Missouri and Addie Wallis of Mt. Home.
Funeral services were conducted at the Galatia Church with interment in the Galatia Cemetery.
