Died Veterans Administration Hospital, Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas.
Son of Amos and Ellen Nichols.

Alvin Nichols, 67, a Spaninsh American War veteran, died August 4, at the Veterans Administration Facility at Fayetteville. He is survived by four brothers, John and Clark Nochols of Alberta, Canada, and Ed and Grover Nichols of Columbus, Ohio and one sister, Mrs. Charlie Bearoe who lives in California as well as several nieces and nephews. He was a native of Ohio but had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nimmo of Norfork for the past 12 years. Funeral services were held at Norfork Christian Church by the Rev. E.T. Baker Sunday afternoon followed by interment at Galatia Cemetery. The Adams Funeral Home of Cotter was in charge.
