Son of Allen & Mollie Hicks Moody.
He and Shirley Moody were married May 13, 1962, at Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Don Moody, a lifetime resident of this area, died Thursday at his Salesville residence. He was 45.
Mr. Moody, a retired construction worker, was born in Iuka July 6, 1937. He married Shirley Moody May 13, 1962 at Mt. Home. Mr. Moody was a US Navy veteran and a Prostestant.
Survivors include his wife, at home; two sons, Steven Moody and Shawn Moody, both of the home; one daughter Sheila Moody, of the home; two brothers, Jack Moody of Calico Rock and Bentley Moody of Russell, Kansas; one sister Anna Lee Brack of Great Bend, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Allen and Mollie Hicks Moody and by two brothers.
Services were Saturday at the Galatia Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Gale Wooten officiating. Burial with graveside military honors by the North Central Arkansas Veterans Coucil was in Galatia Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Ray Lamb, Ray Hall, Dennie Havner, James Parnell, Delman Parnell and Lewis Wayne Moody.
Arrangements were by Roller Funeral Home.
