Mrs. Floye D. Goodman, 26, of Norfork, wife of Johnny L. Goodman, died Wednesday, May 5, at a Mt. Home hospital following a lengthy illness.
The funeral service was held at 2PM Sunday at the Galatia Methodist Church, east of Norfork, with Bro. Oris Vincent of Norfork officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery under the direction of the McClure Service.
Mrs. Goodman, a native of Arkansas and lifetime resident of the area, was born at Iuka on Oct 27, 1938. she was the daughter of the late Floyd Honneycutt and Fern Havener Honeycutt. She was a housewife and a member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Goodman is survived by her husband, Johnny L. Goodman and two sons Timmy and Rickey, all of Norfork; a brother Charley Honeycutt of Norfork; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aadolph Havener of Norfork, three uncles and two aunts.
Pallbearers wer Charles Mayfield, Bruce Mayfield, Billie King, Howard King, Louis Moody and Josh Thompson.
