Son of George Bennett Alexander and Mary Beulah Havner Alexander.
Married Eddie Mae Sisk on December 18, 1947, at Salesville, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Graveside services for 81-year-old Gene Alexander will be at 2PM Saturday at Galatia Cemetery with Bro. Don Pfalser officiating. Mr. Alexander died Tuesday (Nov 7, 2000) at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
He was born Oct 15, 1919, at Cold Water to George and Buelah Havner Alexander. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He married Eddie Mae Sisk on Dec 18, 1947, at Salesville. He was a lifelong area resident. He was a boiler maker for 18 years and worked with Local 83 in Kansas City. Mr. Alexander was retired. He was a member of Adams Masonic Lodge 164 of Norfork and a life member of Wilson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7730 of Calico Rock. He enjoyed gardening. He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by his wife, Eddie Mae Alexander of the home; a daughter, Jan Reynolds of Norfork; two brothers, Louie Alexander of Norfork and Ross Alexander of Arkana; two sister, Viola Sisk of Norfork and Ilene Whiteaker of Arkana; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Buelah Havner Alexander; a daughter, Susie Woods; one brother; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 1-9PM Friday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 5-8PM.
Masonic services will be at Adams Masonic Lodge 164 in Norfork.
Pallbearers are Tommy Reynolds, Levi Woods, Keith Parnell, Trent Alexander, Harold Dean Alexander and Donnie Sisk. Honorary pallbearers are Willie Parnell, Jack Whitfield, Alvin Reynolds, Thurlo Sisk, Elmer Reynolds and Dub Martin.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
