Son of Walter Logan Watley & Callie Ann Chastain Watley.
Married Mrs. Elsie Mae Parnell McGowen, August 20, 1964, Lexington, Lafayette County, Missouri.

Hubert Carl Watley, 74, a retired service station operator of Norfork, died last Thrursday at Bull Shoals Community Hospital.
The son of the late Walter and Callie Chastain Watley, he was born Oct 27, 1904, at Calico Rock and was a lifetime resident of this area. On Aug 20, 1964, Mr. Watley was married to the former Elsie Parnell McGowan, at Lexington, MO. He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his widow of Norfork; two sons, Charlie McGowan and Rodney McGowan, both of Norfork; three daughters, Ruby Daugherty of Independence, MO, Ioan Lloyd of Leewood, KS, and Oleta Martin of Calico Rock; a brother, Ralph Watley of Independence, MO; four sisters, Lela Martin of Norfork, Euna Wallace of Mt. Home, Fay Hays of Willard, MO and Trilby Reed of Oregon City, OR; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral for Mr. Watley was held Sunday at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doyle Martin officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, near Norfork, under Roller's direction.
Pallbearers were Charlie McGowan, Rodney McGowan, Kent Martin, Harold Parnell, Johnnie Cox and L.R. Cox. Floyd Staggs, Willie Parnell, Arlin Martin, Rudolph Parnell, Glen Martin and Sylvester Waire were Honorary pallbearers.
