Son of William Rufus & Rena Jane Hamby Waire.
Married Gracie Elizabeth Melzelda Parnell, March 28, 1942, Culp, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Visitation for Eugene Sylvester Waire of Mt. Home, a lifetime resident of the area, will be from 9AM until 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6-9PM. Mr. Waire, 74, died Thursday at his home.
Funeral services will be at 2PM Sunday at the Galatia Assembly of God Church with Brother Rex Middleton officiating. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery with Grayson Calloway, Harold Parnell, Willie Parnell, Red Simpson, Rodney McGowan and Lawrence Parnell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Caude Beavers, Hershel Perry, Charles Lee Mcgowan, Ed Pinkston and Keith Parnell.
Survivors include his wife, Grace at home; two son, Eugene Waire of Mt. Home and Rudolph Waire of Dolph; one sister Fern Townsend of Mt. Home; two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Rena Hamby Waire.
Mr. Waire, who was born at McPherson, Feb 13, 1911, was a trucker and a farmer. He married Gace Parnell March 28,942 at Culp.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
