Marie M. Park of Mt. Home died Monday at the Baxter County Regional Hospital. Born August 13, 1907, in Wyoming, Ontario, Canada, to Bella and Robert Anderson, she was 77 years old.
Mrs. Park, a homemaker, moved to Mt. Home from Hazel Park, Michigan, 14 years ago. She was a member of the Norfork Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class.
She married the Reverend Verne Park November 3, 1926, at St. Mary's, Ontario. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Dorene Marie Daugherty, one brother and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Reverend Park; one son, Robert Hugh Park of Canton, Ohio; one daughter, Evelyn N. Willneff of Dolph; one sister, Retha Ford of Petrolia, Ontario in Canada; ten grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Kirby Funeral Home from 6 to 8PM Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Thursday at the Norfork Baptist Chruch. The Reverend Forrest Bynum will preside over the service. Interment will take place following at the Galatia Cemetery in Norfork.
