Everett's parents were George Thomas Doyle and Jessie Lea (Horn) Doyle; Vernice's parents were John Franklin Wright and Mary Elvira (Massey) Wright.
Everett R. Doyle, age 83, of Goshen, Ind., formerly of Batesville, died April 17 1997. Born August 1, 1913, in Strawberry, he was the son of G.T. and Jessie Lee Horn Doyle.
He was a retired welder and a member of the Harrison Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Frank Doyle, Goshen, Ind.; a daughter, Burnell Doyle, Batesville; a brother Thomas Doyle, Wichita, Kans.; two sisters, Nina Ward, Crown Point, Ind., and Louise Harrell, Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Monday morning at 10:00 in the Strawberry Church of Christ with Glen Pace officiating. Burial was in the Ward Cemetery at Strawberry under the direction of the Batesville Funeral Service.
