WALNUT RIDGE -- Lester Warnick, 73, died Thursday.
He was born Dec. 16, 1932, at the Coffman community and lived most of his life in Lawrence County. He was retired from G.E. Corp. and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leona Wilson Warnick; his wife, Nina Whitmire Warnick; brothers, Archie, Ray, Leonard and Roy; and sisters, Beulah, Pearl, Agnes, Lula and Marie.
Survivors include sons, Steve Warnick and Mark Warnick, both of Jonesboro; daughters, Leslie Moore of Hoxie and Renee Leger of Jonesboro; brothers Eugene Warnick of Jonesboro and Chester Warnick of Hoxie; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge, with Mark and Steve Warnick officiating. Interment will be in Old Military Cemetery at Sedgwick.
