RUCKER, Wm. H. - Rev. Wm. H. Rucker died Friday morning at ten o'clock at his home north of Rogers at the age of 43 years, 2 months and 15 days. Funeral services were held Saturday at Tuck's Chapel and were conducted by Rev. R.M. Thompson. Deceased belonged to several fraternal orders and the funeral was attended by quite a number of the Rogers brethren. The deceased was born in Macon county, Illinois, August 26th, 1867 and came to Arkansas about 30 years ago. He was married May 9, 1891 to Miss Lizzie Threet who survives him and there is one daughter, Miss Corrinne. He was ordained as a minister of the M.E. church, South and preached about two years in that church. He had taken an active part in the church work at Avoca and was well liked by all his numerous friends and neighbors and will be greatly missed by all.
