DEANS, Ellen BUTLER McGinnis - Mrs. Ellen Butler Deans, 48 years old, died at her home on Prairie creek Sunday night following an illness of several months. Funeral service was held from Central Methodist church here at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. G.C. Bland of LaRue officiating. Burial was in the Tucks Chapel cemetery with A.D. Callison in charge. Mrs. Deans is survived by her husband, B.S. Deans; 3 daughters, Mrs. Doyle Lynn, St. Louis and Misses Mildred and Margaret Deans; one son, Sidney McGinnis, a teacher in the Seligman, Mo. school; her mother, Mrs. Margaret Butler; five brothers, Dave Butler, LaRue, Leonard Butler, San Bernardino, Calif., William Butler, Lind, Wash. and John and Robert Butler of Eldred, Ill. and two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Johnson, Sulphur Springs and Mrs. Winnie Knox, Pleasant Hill, Mo.
