Rose Lee Greer of Norfork died at Calico Rock Health Care Center Wednesday (Sept 25, 1996). She was 94.
A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Greer was born in Mt. View Nov 23, 1901, to Homer and Letha Rosenbaum Daniel. She married Jim Greer on Jan 1, 1960, in Mt. Home. Mrs. Greer was a Jehovah's Witness.
She is survived by a son, Archie Daniel of Norfork; two sisters, Faye Helton of Mt. Home and Mauvourneen Parnell of Norfork; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, and her husband who died in 1975.
The funeral will be at 10AM today at Old Galatia Church in Norfork with Seth Dickerson officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM until the service. Pallbearers will be Dominic Orlando, Johnny Helton, Mike Helton, Lynn Greer, Glenn Greer and Jerry Greer. Honoray pallbeares will be Roe Whitfield and Jack Whitfield.
Memorial may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
