Died Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Son of Mr. & Mrs. Delroy Neargarder.

Wilson Neargarder, 76, a retired carpenter of Norfork, died Saturday at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. A World War I veteran of the Marine Corps, Mr. Neargarder was senior vice commander of the
Twin Lakes Barracks, Veterans of World War I, and was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Born Oct 17, 1897, at Galesburg, IL, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Delroy Neargarder, Survivors include two son, Russell of Waukegan, IL and Thomas E. of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sokup of Freeport, IL and Mrs. Cora Boydston of Abingdon, IL; a brother, Henry Neargarder of Wheeling, IL; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Roller Chapel with Rev. Jack Langston of Norfork officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, near Norfork under the direction of the Roller funeral Home.
