Son of Thomas U. & Matilda Finley Skidmore.
Married Hazel Frances Skidmore, October 1932.
The Baxter Bulletin
James Lee Skidmore, 73, of Norfork died Wednesday of last week at his home. Funeral services were held at 2PM Friday at the Howard Chapel at Calico Rock and interment was in Galatia Cemetery near Norfork. Officiating was Price Lovelace.
Pallberers were Edd Henderson, Benny Speak, Evertt Parnell, Sylvester Parnell, J.J. Gentry and Guy Majors.
Mr. Sikdmore's parents were T. Skidmore and Mitilda Finley Skidmore. A sawmill operator, he had resided in both Izard and Baxter Counties. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel, at home; one son, Robert Lee Skidmore of El Dorado; one daughter, Marydean Casteel of Mt. Home; one brother, Will Skidmore of Dolph; two sister, May Langston and Millie Minton, both of Indiana; four grandchildren; one great grandson; and three step grandchildren.
