Elsie L. Kirby of Norfork died Friday (June 11, 1999) at White River Healthcare in Calico Rock. She was 85.
Mrs. Kirby was born March 9, 1914, at Norfork to Mr. and Mrs. William Houston Hughes. She married B.L. Kirby in February of 1941, and was a homemaeker. She was a member of the Norfork Church of Christ.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Bonnie Hughes of Norfork; one nephew, Jack Hughes of Norfork; two nieces, Wilma Wilbur of Norfork and Betty Ripple of Mt. Home. Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
Services will be at 2PM today at Norfork Church of Christ with Brother Charles Rose officiating. Burial will be in the Galatia Cememtery with Bob Ripple, E.J. Weatherford, Jim Windland, Stan Bridgeman, Bobby Lance and Vernon Cox serving as pallbearers. Vero Greer, Ernest Cantwell, Elvis Cantwell and Jack Hughes will be honorary pallbearers.
