Visitation for Ollie G. Chadwick, a lifetime resident of Norfok, will be from 9AM until 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. Mrs. Chadwick, 74, died Thursday (Dec 1, 1988) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Services will be at 2PM Sunday at Old Galatia Church with Brother Price Lovelace officiating. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery with Larry Woody, Derak Woody, Orvill Guthrie, Dr. Maxwell Cheney, Don Callentine and Caleb Hutson serving as pallbearers. Billy Marion, Phil Williams and Ed Arnold will be honorary pallbearers.
Survivors include her husband Oral J. Chadwick, at home; one son William R. Chadwick of Gassville; two daughters, Sarah Marie Wayland of Mt. Home and Mary Owens of Mt. View; one brother, Coy Staggs of Pineville; one sister, Chestine Collier of Calico Rock; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents Wiley and Dora Dorcas Langston Staggs; one son; one brother; and two sisters.
Mrs. Chadwick was born Oct 6, 1914, at Wideman. She was married May 12, 1936, at Wild Cherry. A housewife, Mrs. Chadwick was a Methodist.
