Zella A. Southard, 53, of Norfork died Saturday, June 18, 2005, at her residence. She was born June 22, 1951, at Gassville to Chester and Leveda McFarland Hickman. On Oct 25, 1984, she married Robert Southard in Mt. Home.
A lifetime area native, Mrs. Southard was a member of Norfork Baptist Church and was retired from Baxter Healthcare.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Southard and a son, Travis Southard, both of the home; mother, Leveda Hickman; six brothers, Jack, Charlie, Cleo, Gary Junior and J.L. Hickman; three sisters, Betty Onelio, Joquita Seehusen and Barbara Pettit; three step daughters, Brenda Dodd, Sherry Mason and Mandy Switzer; three step grandchildren; mother-in-law, Abitha (Clyde)Dye; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death my her father.
Visitation will be noon-9PM Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM. A funeral will be 2PM Wednesday at Norfork First Bapist Church, with the Revs. David Wiley and Floyd Bell Officiating.
Interment will follow in the Galatia Cemetery with her borthers, Jack, Charlie, Cleo, Gary, Junior and J.L. Hickman as pallbearers, and nephews, Tony Michael and Justin Hickman as honorary pallbearers.
