Kysilka, Charles H., 83, WWII Submarine Veteran, served on the USS Finback, beloved husband of the late Dolores, fond husband of Jean (nee Passarella), loving father of Susan (Bruce) Timm and Vicki (Tom)Borsilli, loving grandfather of Andrew and Nathan Timm, fond brother of Rose Schultz, Robert Kysilka and Elaine Papan. Member of WWII Submarine Veterans Association, American Legion Lake Region Post #703, Fox Lake, former member of Galatia Assmebly of God in Norfork, AR and current member of United Methodist Church of Lake Villa. Visitation Tuesday, 2PM to 8PM, at Damar Funeral Home, 7861 S. 88th Avenue (2 mi. west of 79th and Harlem), Justice, IL, where funeral services will be held at 7PM. Interment Galatia Cemetery, Norfork, AR. Please omit flowers. Donations to the charity of your choice accepted.

Charles H. Kysilka, 83, foremerly of Norfork, passed away Saturday, Oct 1, 2005, in Libertyville, IL.
He was born Aug 15, 1922, in Chicago to Charles and Ella (Breitung)Kysilka and moved to the area in 1979 from Oaklawn, IL. Mr. Kysilka served in the US Navy during World War II aboard the submarine USS Finback. Later, he worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service. He was a member of WWII Submarine Veterans Association and Galatia Assembly of God.
Charles Kysilka is survived by his wife, Jean (Passarella) of the home; two daughters, Susan (Bruce) Timm of Highland, IN and Vicki (Tom) Borsilli of Bridgeview, IL; two sisters, Rose Ella Schultz and Elaine Papan of the Chicago area; one brother, Robert Kysilka of Crestwood, IL; two grandsons, Andrew Timm and Nathan Timm both of Highland; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Dolores.
Visitation will be 10AM Thursday at Roller Funeral Home. A funeral will be 11AM Thursday with Rev Rex Middleton officiating. Burial will follow at Galatia Cemetery with military honors by VFW Ozark Post 3246.
Memorial may be made to Gideons International.
