ROGERS — Mary Tolbert, 92, of Rogers died Feb. 4, 2008, at Rogers. She was born Dec. 27, 1915, in Wichita, Kan., to David Franklin Trembly and Henrietta Ann Duncan Trembly.
She moved to Arkansas in 1946 from Oklahoma. She was a self-employed seamstress, a cook for nine years at a nursing home, and a member of the Gateway Quilting Club and Temple Baptist Church in Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Thomas Tolbert, in 1971.
Survivors include one daughter, June Hurd of Rogers; one son, Glen Tolbert of Rogers; one brother, Harold Trembly of Manzanola, Colo.; three sisters, Irene McMillan of Santa Barbara, Calif., Barbara Henley of Elkhart, Kan., and Edna Scheleg of Rocky Ford, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at New Prospect Church with Ron Shults and Ron Fields officiating. Burial will be in Bayless Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m today at the funeral home.
