Son of Henry Samuel and Myrtle Wood Cunningham.

Richard Cunningham, 51, of Independence, MO, died there on Thursday of last week. He was a welder and a native of Baxter Co.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearl Cunningham of Independence; a son, Richard L., and two daughters, Mrs. Loretta Hawkins and Mrs. Carol Adkinson, all of Kansas City, MO; four stepchildren, Mrs. Jo Ann Hines, David Macrae and Paul Macrae of Independence and Fred Macrae of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Small and Mrs. Lora Daniel of Norfork and Mrs. Nova Honeycutt of Kansas City, and 20 grandchildren.
Mr. Cunningham was born at Norfork on Sep 17, 1917, the son of Samuel Cunningham and Myrtle Wood Cunningham. He served with the US Navy in World War II.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Galatia Methodist Church, near Norfork, with Rev. Oris Vincent of Flippin, a minister of the Assembly of God Church. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Service.
