Antonio Acklin, son of Dennis Acklin of Jordan Arkansas and Anita Bakken Chappell of Gainesville, Missouri, was born March 14, 1984, in Lunnenburg, Arkansas. He departed this life on April 20, 2008, in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 24, years, 1 month and 6 days.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Johanna Nozar Acklin, two sons Christian Nozar and Dawson Sherrill and one daughter, Jade Sherrill, all of the home; his father and step-mother, Dennis and Julie Acklin of Jordan; his mother Anita Bakken Chappell of Ganesville, Missouri; one brother, Alex Acklin of Mt. Home; five sisters, Nicole Rooney of Pennsylvania, Sarah Thompson of Culpepper, Virginia, Angie Gipson of Melbourne, Jennifer Acklin Dickerson of Mt. Home and Melissa Tallent of Jordan; maternal grandfather, Gary Leon Welch of West Plains, MO and paternal grandmother, Antha Moler of Calico Rock.
Funeral service was Friday April 25, 2008, at 3:00PM at New Hope Chirstian Fellowship Chruch. Burial was at Galatia Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation was Thrusday, April 24, for 6-8PM.
