ROGERS — George Neville Dove, 87, of Rogers died Oct. 4, 2008, at his home. He was born Dec. 27, 1920, in Ashburn, Va., to Richard "Dick" and Dolly Adelle Danes Dove.

He was a postal carrier in Virginia, a grave digger and dairy farmer. He was an Army veteran. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and gardening. He was a Southern Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Alice Chastain Dove; one great-grandchild.

Survivors include his son, David Allen Dove of Gentry; three daughters, Linda Margaret Andersen of Hindsville, Barbara Adelle Westbrook of Gentry and Anne Payne of Rogers; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale, online at www.siscofuneral.com. Sam Whatley will officiate.

Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Carl Allen Andersen, Eric Eugene Andersen, James Michael Payne, Jeremy David Payne, Raul Roman, Juan Dove, David Allen Dove and Alex Roman.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
