WALNUT RIDGE — Gladys Irene Henry, 89, of Walnut Ridge died Tuesday, May 22, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Born at Walnut Ridge, she was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Henry of Brookfield, Mo., and Jesse Henry of Ravenden; a brother, James Decker of Walnut Ridge; 12 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Henry Jr., and by two sons, a daughter and four sisters.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery, with Clarence Jenkins officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.
Pallbearers will be Harold Gill, Dot Graham, Danny Whitmire, Chris Whitmire, Gerald Whitmire and Gary Burton.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday.
