JOHNSTON, Maidson - Maidson Johnston was born in Jackson county, Ill. April 23, 1854. He united with the Christian church at Gramhorn, Texas
in 1879; was married July 1, 1883 to Iva Richardson at Montage, Texas.
Died July 17, 1924 at his home near Maysville, in Oklahoma, where he had resided for 30 years. He was ready to meet his God. He was a good
husband. He leaves four brothers and one sister, also his companion to mourn his death. Rev. W.H. McCarron of Gravette conducted the funeral Friday at 2:30 p.m. and interment was made in the Tinnin cemetery near Maysville.
