BYRD, Willie W. - Died Monday, July 22d, 1895 at the residence of his grandmother, Mrs. E.T. Cook of this city, Willie W., little son of Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Byrd of Pine Bluff, aged 1 year and 11 months. Little Willie W. Byrd was born August 22,1893 and died July 22, 1895 after a lingering illness of fifteen weeks with Bright's disease which resulted from an attack of scarlet fever. Funeral services were conducted at the residence of Mrs. E.T. Cook Tuesday at 10 o'clock a.m. by Eld. M.M. Smith of the Baptist church after which the remains were laid to rest beside his grandfather, Mr. E.T. Cook, in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Byrd and family have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
