Melba Marie Collins, 83, of Harrison; passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, at her home. She was born Thursday, January 13, 1938, in Oregon; to Lloyd McKinley and Bertha May Glenn McChristian.

Melba married Norval Louis Collins on June 4, 1956; and together they were parents to one daughter. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Melba loved tending to her flower garden, and doting on her dog, "Todd" and her seven cats.

Melba was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Wayne Shankle of Harrison; and her grandchildren, Aaron Shankle of Fort Smith; and Rhiannon Shankle of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The family will receive friends 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Brashears Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19, please practice social distancing and masks are required. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 PM, with Pat Mannon officiating. Pallbearers will be Larry McChristian, Mike Collins, Larry Collins, Jamie House, Todd House, and Dean Garrett. Interment will immediately follow services at Maplewood Cemetery, Harrison. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
