Death again entered the family of C.H. Kerr, removing his daughter, Mrs. Hattie Chadd, on July 22, 1914 at her home at Wilson, Okla. Mrs. Chadd was the younger of Mr. Kerr's 2 daughters, both of whom have passed away. Mr. Kerr, who was here Tuesday, enroute to Kansas to visit his son, stated that he was in Pennsylvania last winter when his daughter was taken sick; but later she improved. However, a few weeks ago Mrs. Chadd was taken worse and passed away suddenly July 22. The body was brought here and laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant cemetery beside her mother and sister. Mrs. Chadd leaves a husband, 3 children, her father, 3 brothers, one in St. Louis, one in Kansas and Warren Kerr, who occupies the old homestead northeast of Gravette. The family have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
